How Clockwork Princess should work out
Tessa realizes that the only way to not come between Jem and Will is to not be with any of them so she dumps Jem and goes to Gabriel Lightwood who needs a little love, poor guy. And Will and Jem are like “man, girls only cause trouble, we weren’t so stressed when it was just the two of us” and finally realize that they’re meant to be and they live gay ever after.
Also, Gideon and Sophie get together and she becomes a badass shadowhunter, of course.
